Switch for headlights wireing?

Can any body tell me what colours wires go to what numbers on the headlight switch? Ive tryed loads diffrent ways but cant get them right? So theres a blue,red/blue,green /red and numbers 1 to 8 on the switch?

Blue/brown to 4 (12v feed), Blue to 8 (headlights), red/green to 7(sidelights).
Don't know where you got your colours from.............
That is from a diagram, not from my car as it is an earlier switch I think.
