Doesn't look too bad for a wreck... nice bootlid and rear seam - keep it rust-free as replacements are either unobtainable or very expensive.
You MUST keep the old tax disc in the screen as a memento of how long it was off the road.
Good luck with what will be a very worthwhile and hopefully straightforward project.

Doesn't look too bad, stick at it, I regret selling mine (it was an awful lot worse), car repair is very soothing I find.

You may be right there,Don't know if they were a better build quality,but mine apart from the sills and rear wings is still original,floor chassis inner wings boot and front wings never been welded,still solid,you can hit the rear inner wings with a hammer and still get a good clang of solid metal,seen a lot of others in just as good a condition. Better quality steel that year maybe.
