Does any of you know the best way to get windscreen sealant out of carpet. Just had a new rubber fitted to henrietta. Didnt spot some sealant on the floor and walked it indoors. The wifes not happy as its a beige carpet and black sealant. So was just wondering if any of you know how to do it.

I'd try any possible solvents on you shoes/boots.
Put some on a tissue or cloth and see if the sealant comes off.
Petrol, white spirit and nail varnish remover spring to mind any kind of detergent also WD40 could be good.
Best of British luck!

Is something like this any use? Try in an unobtrusive area of carpet first?

I would use white spirit too, I got some underseal on our lounge carpet and it worked for me. Managed to clean it up without being caught out though!!!!!

This is a blatant advert, but I have used it on beige carpet and it worked.

Highly patterned carpet is the way forwards, beige is just asking for trouble

I've often wondered about the hearsay that if you spill red wine on a carpet you can pour on some white which will neutralise it. So what happens when you spill rose wine?
Seems baloney to me.
