Thanks for the link! There was no way in a million years I would spent £100+ on them. At the end of the day I can always take them off if I don't like them

The alloy bling wheel of its day. Original Ace-Mercury wheel discs/rimbellishers are prized possessions nowadays.

Any 14-inch rimbellisher should fit, but finding a full set would be a challenge. Avoid modern chrome or preferably buy Stainless Steel.

Just be careful when driving over any big holes in the road. I lost one a few years ago - last seen heading towards the central reservation on the M25 near South Mimms :(

Reminds me of a tale my grandad used to tell. On Holiday the luggage fell off the roof-rack all over the motorway. Fortunately there weren't as many cars around then so of course the family got out to pick it all up.

I think they look good but do you get any vibration noise at speed?

1952 Morris Minor MM highlight with sidevalve engine still fitted, wants work, so joins the queue for now......

Just wondered as I had ACE? wheel trims on mine when I bought it but I soon removed them, as they caused a vibrating hum (as soon as I took them off it was gone).

I had some fitted to my '53 Morris, just the plain chrome ones. Very rust and flakey, but they still polished up very nicely.

When i changed the wheels i kept the rings, waiting for the next Minor...
Today i bought the next Minor :-D
