Old English White - RAL code

Post by edd_barker »

Hello,

Starting new thread as had only tacked this on to another one, which I know is bad practice.

Wheels going in to powder coat tomorrow. I would like them Old English White - the colour that Morris Minor Millennium have theirs coated (Martin didn't know the RAL).

Anyone know the closest colour code? Its quite a yellow/creamy white. They are currently bright white which is awful.

Many thanks again,

Edd

50/50 mix of Dulux Magnolia and White is pretty much perfect if that's any help....... In fact there are (at least) two OEW shades - one much 'creamier' than the other....both known as WT3.
Seems ICI 2379 was the earlier creamy version and ICI 2122 is the later whiter shade (of pale... )

Can't fault the 50 50 mix of gloss paint, I did mine last summer, several coats mixed with white spirit to thin them on top of some primer. Have been using the car all winter and they look great. Cost? About a tenner.
