hi ,just "found" a green flasher unit in the long forgotten " odds and sods" Quality Street electric tin.
It's rectangular has three pins marked L1 L3 & C.
The only other marking is the helpful FLASHER,stencilled on top.
I'm hoping to use this in my late 2 door if it makes a noise as the little buzzers that i get from marlins have a very short life.
Any problems with trying this out?

Oh I don't think a flasher unit can have any effect on the weather !! Nice fresh/clear/sunny day again up here!!

I have the same tin in my.... wait a minute?!
Do you know what the three connections are? A pin out would help you a lot. If it's electronic (rather than the little metallic strips of yore) it might be negative earth only and will flash at the same rate, regardless of load.
