Just took my Car to garage after hitting a pot hole and told my Wheel was buckled and the spare will not fit the Car,
Series 2 1955

Are the wheels 4" PCD ? If so - plenty about and quite often given away free! If the earlier 4.5" PCD then they are a bit more rare and harder to source.... So - out with the tape measure!

that late i would expect them to be 4" however do the current rims have "pips" to hold on the hub caps.. if so they might be slightly more difficult to find.. but still as cheap. of course most people will not be able to tell / see the difference but i am not sure if the hub caps differ.

If it's actually buckled it will need replacing, however if there is just a dink in the rim it can be beaten back into shape with a ball peen hammer.
What state was the tyre in?

If the spare is 4.5in PCD do not throw it away, someone will find it useful

Yes - I suspect it is the spare wheel that is 'wrong' . Good chance someone will swap 2 X standard wheels for your spare if it is the early type.

Audrey - if you fill in your location (right hand side under the date you joined and your username) it will help in your search - people nearby may be able to help.

Thanks for all of your replies. In fact, it turns out the spare isnt even a morris minor wheel??? Took it to the local garage, and he recons its of an Austin.

Ive been told its hard to measure with the tyre on? How do i go about measuring it???

Thanks

it may seem easier to ask do your wheels have the extra hole to adjust the brakes through, and 3 little pips to locate the wheel hub cap fi so they are early type ?

I have one if you have this style.

I got a spare then the guy who I got the car from found the original so I have 2.

What do you want to measure? Read the tyre size off the sidewall - and put a steel rule across the stud holes diagonally to get the PCD.....
