anyone heard of a colour called steel grey,, 1958 car?

1958 cars either Clarendon Grey or Birch Grey, haven't come across Steel Grey as standard colour. :D

hi there is a steel grey for bmw's, it's the darker silver finish

APARENTLY its a bmc colour not too commonly used

Steel Grey is a metallic used on Minis. It was never an original Morris Minor colour.

According to my Berger paints car colour book Steel grey GR17 Bergers ref 1302 was used on the Austin A99 and A110 from 1959 to 1966.
