Minors Overseas Travel (MOT) France

Accompanied by a girl friend (Hi, Janet!) I took my treasured 8 cwt van on an MOT jaunt to France. I cannot remember exactly where it was but this sticker was issued to participants and to this day is proudly displayed in the windscreen!
Could anyone please let me know what year it was, where we went and what we did?!! (It *was* a long time ago!!).
If anyone has any stories to tell, or photographs taken during the events, please do share them!

I think that was the first Overseas trip to Fontainebleau in May 1983

Yes! I am now sure you are right. We were one of the few that missed the ferry - it's a long way from Yorkshire in a moggy van! (But we did stay overnight in London!) We did see the ferry pulling out of Dover, though! We came back alone as we spent a day or two in Paris on the way home.
I will almost certainly have taken photographs at the time. Our stuff is in storage at the moment, as we are between houses. I will look them out and send them in once we are settled in the new house!
