been looking at this as its only 2 mins away what should i look out for guys also this is a 1098 right?

what should i be looking for? as in problem wise and how much should i pay ?

There's not much to test when it has no gear lever!
I would visually check for cracks in the case, and check the carbon clutch release is in useable nick.
I wouldn't want to pay much more than the asking price for an unknown box.

It's standing upright so could be damaged - they should be laid horizontally.
The exterior is very worn which we may take as a general guide and although the innards may be in good condition, I'd forget this one. You really need one that is guaranteed to be working, or at least seen working. It is also about £5-10 overpriced given its unknown condition.
Minor gearboxes have a habit of jumping out of gear when considerable service has been given.
