minor 1000 - rear light fittings

Post by fenbiker »

Hi, can anyone tell me where I can purchase the screws/bolts which secure the rear light cluster to the rear wings, and also I would like to know what thread form are they? The main suppliers do not list them, and they are not shown in the Moss Minor parts lists. Grateful for any info.

Morris Minor Centre Birmingham (now being branded as David Manners) also has them. Although not listed, I suspect that most of the suppliers will supply them if asked. The new plastic units do not use the same fittings as the original metal units.

Always worth checking the MOSS website for parts - they have the best exploded diagrams and parts listings - although they don't always have the parts in stock - or necessarily offer the lowest price (but they often have discount promotions - so sign up with them). And they do have several depots, and you may find there is one near you to save on carriage charges.
