security etching

As I have made such a lot of noise in the direction of car security, Diskloks and all that, I thought I better try Etching too.

Anyway it was easy to apply and the net result isnt too obtrusive, just visible enough combined with the Disklok to put off the scumbags hopefully.

Only any use if the car is stolen for re sale, no use if taken for joy riding and then setting on fire :cry: :cry: :cry:

Absolutely agree, the disklok helps there, and the cut out switch.The etching is only to dissuade the would be breaker for spares.

Yes, originally purchased in 1965 from Dewy garage, I only know this as the original tax disc holder has their name on it.

Should be on the Heritage Certificate as well.
I guess Fido should be a good deterent.
