Minor Badge Bar - what type to fit?

I know this isn't up everyone's street, but what type of badge bar would have been fitted to a mid 1950's Minor (Traveller)?
I happen to have 2 badge bar badges, but no badge bar.

There are 2 types available today, either straight or curved. Most are reproductions of the original Desmo bars that were fitted as accessories when the cars were new. Some are fitted by drilling to into the valence, others clamp onto the rear of the valence.
I have this one on my Traveller.

Thanks, that looks very nice. They do both cranked (as shown on the weblink) and straight - which one did you fit?
The traveller I'll be fitting it to, is the one in my sig (1956 model, but wrong year index number).

I've got the "cranked" on on my Traveller - only trouble I've found with this design is that you have to balance the badges and you cannot fit one in the middle (bent bit). I'm putting the straight one on my Convertibe l when the weather permits (she's currently hiding under her warm car cover)

I have just fitted a straight Desmo reproduction 15" badgebar to my Series 2 and it should be big enough to hold five or six badges.
Easy to fit - just two holes drilled in the valance and do up the bolts.

I have fitted one too on mine! Just two holes in the vallance, I did cut two extra bits of rubber to make it sit straight on the angle!

It looks good.

Folks, I've ordered the cranked 18inch "desmo" style bar from Halcyon. Their price includes four badge fiiting units - some eBayers are selling these for £4.75 each, and then the bar at £20, so the Halcyon deal at £35.59 inc VAT and p&p, seemed the best deal.
If I get everything together, then you'll see me and my Moggie (with bar) at a couple of the events this year

Thanks to all for the input.

I think these bars give the cars a lovely "period" feel

Hi, The spotlights are original Lucas units and have adjustable cups and threaded stems which simply bolt down through 12mm holes step drilled in the bumper valance.
This is what they looked like before restoration.

The problem I had was trying to fit badge holders through the cheesegrater grille, they just would not fit straight because of the narrow gaps. The later slatted grilles are easier to attach badges to.

I've got my "cranked" badge bar (came with 4 badge clamps), but only have 2 badges at present. I'll now have to drill some holes.
And I agree, a nice collection of badges that LambrettsLad has - and the bar is on a green moggy.

After the Brooklands event, I came home and finally drilled some holes (painted the bare metal after) in my front bumper valance and fitted my Badge Bar. The gap towards the right is for fitting the "period" spotlight I bought (on Fleabay).[frame]
