I have been looking at various vintage cars, and keep reading about 'touring' fuel consumption - what does that mean? Does that mean mixed driving or steady speed on motorway / a roads?
Also, in the magazine 'practical classics' they give mpg figures for all classics - for example a Morris Oxford VI has the figure 28mpg, do they mean combined or best??
If vintage then touring would be similar to combined. They didn't have many motorways back then
Practical classics would, I hope, give a real world figure, combined not best.
