after all the effort and hard work put in to entering the Condition class
as for a lot of members this is the only class we can compete in

shame butLouiseM wrote:This year there is not going to be the usual MMOC National Rally - it is being held in conjunction with the Morris International Centenary event so lots of other car clubs are also attending, including some who are also incorporating their own 'national rally' into the event. Some people are still referring to the event as the "MMOC national rally" but it isn't really as it's nothing like the usual national rally - lots of other car clubs are having an input into how the event is run.
The MMOC has been in discussions with the other car clubs with regards to the organisation of the event and it was decided that due to the layout of the rally ground it would not be practical to line up lots of the same vehicles in rows. Instead, vehicles will be arranged differently from the standard rally set up - not in rows in make/model order - and no condition judging will take place as it would not be practical to attempt to judge the condition of hundreds of different types of vehicles which will be spread all over a very large rally ground. The same happened at the MMOC 50th & 60th anniversary rallies which were both mixed car club events on a large scale.
This was mentioned at the Branch & Register liaison meeting which was held on the 30th September and I posted the information on this messageboard, in the members area, on 1st October - the day after the meeting.
Full details about the Centenary event will be published in the next issue of Minor Matters.
