Firstly, were Traveller's ever available as CKD?
Apart from Australia, what other countries used their own identification/chassis numbering system?
As for the "LBM"...this is the moulding under the rear window of 2drs which continues PAST the roof gutter line - the body codes are different to standard models too.
As always, PLEASE pm/e-mail me chassis/body & engine numbers, incl. Aussie models.

Pardon my ignorance, but what are 'CKD' and 'LBM' minors?

CKD is "completely knocked down" they were minors supplied overseas in bits ready for assembly, this kept the overseas market involved in assembly and hence people employed avoiding punitive taxation.
Countries that were invoved included Old Empire Nations and Commonwealth countries,India,Australia New Zealand,Denmark, the Netherlands Eire South Africa etc.
A peculiar justice when you think Lord Nuffield imported parts for assembly here, until our new taxation laws forced him to produce home built parts.
As for LBM I dunno, but someone will be back shortly with a reply.
