Good evening all,
A friend of ours has a gearbox that he would like to be reconditioned at Weeley Transmissions in Essex. He got the name from the November/ December Minor Matters. So far we've not been able to find any reviews online for him and so were wondering if anyone has had any work done by them and have any feedback?
Many thanks

I have used them when I bought a couple of gears for my series 2 g/box from them they thought they might have a few more spares but they could not find them ,but the 2 gears they did send were exactly as described and very cheap and they only charged me the actual cost of the postage , they also were happy to spend some time on the phone giving me some advice so as far as I am concerned they were really good

Thank you for the response. Our friend has booked his gearbox in, so looking forward to seeing the results.

If they haven't got any spare parts....I don't see what they are going to do!

A fair comment but I was only stating my experience with this company on relating to a series 2 g/box ,I did not or did not need to know what other spares they keep to overhaul / refurbish gearboxes I was just very grateful to them for the spares/service I received from them
