Hello all!

I have been rebuilding a 1098cc morris and i am pretty much done but i was putting the carb back in today and notice that i have lost the following screw and bolt (cam lever pivot bolt and jet link securing screw) and i cannot get hold of them anywhere, i have tried online ect and had no luck! I really dont want to buy a whole new carb just for these two pieces!

any help would be appreicated

It's probably a BA bolt - and the screw is just a self tapper....... Why did you take the carb to bits????

Hi, Thanks do you know if or where i could get replacement one becuase i am moving to Battle on the 2nd of Jan and i need the car running by then! I took the carb to bits to give it a really really good clean and scrub and for the life of me i cannot find them!!

Have you tried the obvious places: SU and Moss, for instance?

Try Googling for AUC 1426 or AUC1426 (i.e. without the space) to see if that's the right one. ICBA to find the Morris catalogue on Moss's site, and the SU site (formerly Burlen) makes me lose the will to live.

Ditto for the screw (AUC2104?), though I can't imagine it's all that special a self-tapper.

Have you also lost the washers and spacers off the bolt?

I do agree about the Burlen site....nightmare.

Thankyou all, I am going to make a trip to East Sussex Morris centre tomorrow and see what they have its only 12 mile drive for me. If i dont have any luck I will try that nightmare website! Thanks again for your help an next time i try to recon a carb i will make sure i dont misplace any pieces, I blame my stupid short term memory!
