Intermotor... Don't be tempted!

They are cheap products for a reason...had 2 coils from them die within weeks of use and now a condenser :( Very very unhappy with their products :(

Are you sure they are the correct coil for the car? A ballast coil will last about a week on a non ballast system........ Put the original coil back on - because it's 'NEVER' the coil !!! And try a nice new condenser and correctly gapped points........

What were the coils' part numbers?

It would be helpful for us all if you could measure the resistance between the two terminals (+ and -, or SW and CB).

Roy and I have both banged on about the absolute need to measure this resistance before you fit any new coil, regardless of whether the sticker on it says Lucas, Intermotor, or Lucky Sparks.

Never had a problem with Intermotor points and condensors.
