Wheel paint colour........

My car is Old English White methinks? 
I wanted to paint the wheels in a similar colour but wanted one application metal paint and didn't want to pay a fortune for enough celulose to paint the car AND wheels.
I've tried painting one wheel initially with Hammerite's Smooth Cream metal paint.
This appears to me to be very close to the Old English White body colour and once the hubcaps are on I honestly can't see the difference.
A 250ml tin of the smoothrite should be enough to paint all four rims and the spare as well and can be purchased for eight to nine quid.
Just thought someone else could benefit from my experiment!
