My Traveller seems to have developed a puddle behind the passenger seat, only just noticed cos I don't have rear passengers very often. What is the most likely cause? The head lining doesn't SEEM wet, and no sign of water on the Wooden (B?) post behind the door. Any offers as to where to start would be great. Just about to order some Captain Tolleys Creeping Crack Cure to try to solve a leaky wind screen, wondering if the jointing strip on the roof could be a leak problem, and if so is it worth sticking a bit of Captain Tolleys in there?

Lift the carpets and inspect the floors and sills....and look under the rear seat..... Could be full of water in there! Also remove the side panel and see what's going on down the side... As long as the drain holes are clear in the timber sides - the water shouldn't come in there.

The rear footwells are you the lowest point in the car, the leak could be from several places as has been said, keep an eye on the bottom edge of the windscreen when it's pouring, also what state are the glove boxes in? Plenty of scope for leaks through the wipers and bonnet hinges too.

Check the state of your door rubber seals. Do the sliding rear windows shut tightly up to the wood behind the B post? These are the usual culprits.
