amperage of fuses

Can someone tell me what the amperage should be for the fuse which protects the wipers and heater (also the retrospectively fitted indicators) on a 1957 saloon.

This information is not given in the workshop manual and handbook which I have and I cannot find any reference to this in previous threads.

Thanks,

John B

I would start with 15 amp fuses and if it holds, fine. If it doesn't hold you could move up to a 20 amp, then 25, etc.

Thanks.

That's what I wanted to know.

Strange it's not in the book.
