Carb question... again...!

As instructed by BMCECOSSE ages and ages ago, I have finally put a new carb on my car with a breather intake. So, now I have a breather tube from the rocker to the carb direct, and a tube from the tappet chest that runs underneath the car, all fine - but ONE more question about this, should the oil filler cap now be vented or not?????

Have it vented if you like breathing carcinogenic fumes...........otherwise NO !!!!

okay, not sure if the one fitted IS vented or not, it is an old chrome thing with a very small hole in the middle... would that be a vented out I take it?

Well - that's not the 'real' vented cap which is a plastic affair - but obviously there will be a tiny leak from the securing cable hole..... I wouldn't worry about it !
