Engine Number Identification

My V5C is quoting the wrong engine number.
The number on the engine plate looks like OMA-UK-H359619. (It's a 1098) I have been previously told on the forum that it is probably a recon unit.
Can anyone tell me if this is the right format before I send the V5C back in.
Thanks

It will be 10 MA etc - just a standard 1098 engine.

Don't know about the absent '1' prefix + the additional 'K' - strange to be close to a std nos.
10MA-U-H 359xxx would make it c1969ish

Thanks chaps, on closer inspection there is a "1" hiding near the rivet but I still have a "K" so it's now 10MA-UK-H359619.
Also, on the V5C, the model (D.3.) is quoted as 1100. What have you all got for a moggy. May as well get it sorted all together.

Minor 1000. You sure you don't have a log book for an '1100' ??? Is the chassis number correct??

Numerical mistakes usually made when DVLC computerised their system c1979.
Many thousands of Morris Minor's, Morris 1100's, Morris Mini's details were processed to compile the database -
with so much detail to transfer, blunders occurred.
