Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. Please could anyone let me have a photo of the exact exhaust hanger/bracket locations on a saloon? I can't find any trace of where the originals would have gone on the underfloor
Many thanks

There is one strap held by a nut and bolt just in front of the back seat bulkhead section and another in the back of the boot well behind the fuel tank.

Decided to fit the exhaust this morning but fitting kit has everything except - presumably - a couple of elbow brackets that get welded or bolted to the floors. A visit to a DIY store I think..

You don't normally need 'elbow brackets' and certainly no welding involved..........

Really?. Does that mean flexible strap (with washers) just bolts to the underfloor?

Usually - yes. On sloping surfaces!

Ah great that makes sense - there is no evidence on my car of where original fixtures went but then almost the whole floor had rusted away and has now been replaced. On the rear strap I will fit to vertical rear boot panel and other one on the rear sloping floor

The forward mounting is through the floor pan in front of the bulkhead, otherwise you will have no access to the nut or bolt

Did you support the front pipe on a scissor jack then raise the pipe up to the manifold so that it is in the correct position before fitting the clamp?
