Some of you may recall the 1957 2-door from Scotland being offered in the 'Free' section back in June this year
This car was given to me on the proviso that it was restored rather than broken for spares and i'm very happy that it passed first time around today

The car has been in the same family from new after being passed from Father to Son on the day he passed his test. It was taken off the road in 1982 for restoration which never got started. The gentleman that owned it died and his widow wanted it to go to someone that would put it back on the road so kindly donated it through the MMOC messageboard.
I've welded in new floor sections, sills and rear quarters, replaced the engine with a lovely 1275 unit and resprayed her in Fiat Volare Blue. 'Moo' is being displayed on the sponsors stand at the Classic Motor Show at the NEC in a couple of weeks time and i've sent complimentary tickets to the previous owners wife so she can come and see her in a restored state. It'll be an emotional moment i'm sure.[frame]
