Went to see the old girl in the barn today, after 20 years sat, i am taking on the challenge to get her back on the road hopefully in a year, Pumped the first two tyres up today and then the mini compressor broke . So will have to get another one soon, but somehow it turned over with 20 year old fuel in but the AUA 66 petrol pump has broken, so looking for a new one, if anyone has a spare for sale or knows someone who is, please get me touch. But am going back on thursday to drain the tank and put some new fuel in if the fuel pump can be fixed or if ive sourced another one. And plugs came out for a clean up. Will keep you all posted.

Also does anybody know where i can find the password to the club spares in the laster minor matters (cant seem to find it anywhere)

Good to hear you have made a start!

The same petrol pump was fitted throughout the production of the minor so they are readily available form any minor specailist. Chances are though that the points are corroded on yours and that it might work if you clean them.

Is the engine still turning over with the starting handle before you would try to start it after 20 years? The pistons rings could be stuck and it could damage them.

The club spares bit hasnt been updated in some time, if your looking something from Bryan its best to ring and see if he has it.

Yes i have cleaning the contacts and it works now, but cant see it lasted for much longer so am on the case of finding a new/reconditioned one.

Didnt start using the handle just went straight for the ignition and turned over very nicely.

Will take some pictures tomorrow as the ones on my phone arent great.
