Broadening my Horizons....

Post by Matt »

I'm sure BMC won't be impressed (because its narrow guage), but there you go....

Not content with what I am doing now I have just volunteered an evening a week to help restore some of our (well sort of) industrial heritage...

Helping to restore

Business like name, why not?
I enjoy working on things that were made by engineers not accountants, engineers look the the future not just the bottom line.

I agree, Isambard Kingdom Brunel would never exist in the 21st century. The accountants and investers weren't that pleased with him back them, Dragon's Den would put him in the looney bin. Shame, if his ilk were around today we'd probably be teleporting everywhere!

Hahaha -well done - but it's surely not 'local heritage' - very much a foreign looking beastie !! Ahh right - having now read the blurb - it is ex South Africa. Seems to have had a long start/stop restoration so far! Good luck with it!
