Hi just thought I better check on this before I embark on a mission .........Ive got an original traveller(70s) engine and gear box (still connected)all in gwo) and I am hoping to be able to put it straight in to my van (69) it all looks the same ........but does anyone know if there are any differences or things i should watch out for . Cheers.

Cannot put high compression 1098cc's into green vans, it will effect the BMC/BL warranty!
You have to re-paint your van - same colour as the donor - or, seek advice from an authorised dealer!
But seriously, no problem with a switch, although be mindful of 'fittings' that may be different.
Post the engine nos. should be either late 10MA-U-L or early 189E/L in the van!

You will need to use the gearbox X-member from your van.
