You will fit in - but whether you will be comfortable on a long journey is another matter........ Welcome to the forum!

Well im 6'2" 19st+ and i fit well in my four door saloon which i would think as the doors are the same size. there can't be much difference in seat positions and i don't find it uncomfortable on long journeys.

Welcome to the messageboard AlpineFrank. You don't give your location but there might be someone with a pickup locally which you could try out for size. By the way, what is 'the mission' that you're going to be undertaking?

The only trouble/difference between a pickup and a saloon is that the seat is adjustable in saloons to allow for more leg room.
The position of the back of the cab makes almost impossible to move the seat back a lot to give more leg room.

I am 6'2" and many moons ago, when my back was more flexible, I ran a Minor van for a while. I would have to say that it was not the most comfortable experience! Having said that, in days gone by seats in cars were rarely built for comfort.

I own a 67 pick up that has a small steering wheel n some orrible datsun seats grafted into it .
I bought it as a non runner when I went to view it , my main concerns were the chassis n the engine , so I groveled round underneath for a while al looked good ish . Right now for the motor , A can of carb cleaner (few things more flamable) and a battery booster spin spin spin squirt squirt squirt Vrrooooooom no knoking . OK £800 quid was it , handed over the dosh .
Right I'll get in it you push me back "HOLY COW DUNG BATMAN " I can hardly get in the thing ,OMG I've just paid £800 quid for a car i can't even drive . But after a few months of back aches and developing muscles in my legs that i didn't even know were there (First car type thing I'de always had bikes until then ) Ide fallen in love and still own it 12 years later
My advise would be find one near you look at it, sit in it ,drive it , If you feel like an action man in a scalectrix car probably don't buy it .But dont write it off just yet coz people convert travelers into pickups a bit more leg room and cab space as the doors are longer . I saw one on Ebay that was done like one of these mincey pickup's with a tiny little bed and a crew cab with suicide doors on the rear looked awsome .
I live in Essex if your local your more than welcome to come n try it for size

To buy a Moggie (the mission)
he is thinking about buying a Morris so before he spends his hard earned cash running around he needs to know if he will fit in one
