Fitting carb and manifold

Does any one have experience fitting these? I have seen twin fron downpipes advertised but these don't appear to have a rear section and silencer attached. So the questions are what goes behind the 1st section of exhaust? Will the bonnet close with the Ital air filter in place? Will the standard throttle and choke cables line up?
Also will it all seem to be too low geared with this set up?
The engine is originally from an Ital.

I am almost sure the original air filter wont fit, and there is a system made to fit the twin Ital down pipe, this is explained in more detail in Owen Burtons book available from the Bath specialist, I also think that the Birmingham centre also sell the bits.

My Marina carb came with a curved trumpet to fit the air filter casing to. With a bit of work filing the flange of this I got the standard Minor 1098 air filter casing to fit.

oh yes.. mine will rev to 6500 in top gear with no problems, I am going to move over to a 3.7:1 diff and see how things go.
