Chassis numbers from Oct '56 to Oct '62 were 448801 - 990289 so yours would probably be late '56 or and early '57 with a High compression engine (H before engine number).

Late '56 Tourer/Convertable?

Body number to be a bit more accurate.

According to Skilleter the last Series II was 448714, therefore FCB 11/464404 would be a 948 grey convertible Minor 1000. Has the car got a split windscreen?
If you enquire at British Motor Industry Heritage Trust they should be able to tell you the build date for that chassis no.

Try giving them a ring, or if you live near enough you can ring and make an appointment to view the records in person.

You would have had to put the Reg Number on a Retention Certificate to hold on to it. Do you not have any old pictures of the car ???
