Hi everybody. I have handed over this Run to Branch member Ade Pearse as I am back in work for November. Ade has organised this our final Run of the Branch season. If you would like to attend this then either PM me or customjob for more details.
Thanks.
PROPOSED ROUTE FOR THE 2012 SWMMOC POPPY RUN.

Tesco Llantrisant to the King’s Head Llangennith Gower Penynsular.
The route travels from Llantrisant via Llanharan, Pencoed, Bridgend, Pyle and Port Talbot to have a comfort break for approximately ½ Hr. We continue on towards Swansea, The University of Wales, traveling through the outskirts of the Mumbles and picking up the picturesque A4118 and continuing towards the 11th century village of Llangennith and probably the most westerly pub on the Gower peninsula, The Kings Head. A menu is available giving a wide selection of food including sandwiches and filled rolls.
Either side of the road outside of the pub are two war memorials, if members so wish it would be fitting to mark our respects while we are there.
The village has easy access to Llangennith beach with the sand stretching t Rhosilli some four miles away. The sand and Rhosilli bay should give a fantastic back drop for a branch photo.

The run is about 50 Miles 2 hrs, 2 ½ hrs with a stop at Port Talbot.
The route uses A and B roads and avoids the Motorway, these roads have chosen to make it fairer to those members who prefer not to use the Motorway.
If you feel that this is route is acceptable I will contact the pub to discuss possible numbers.
