Traders on Ebay

Another Morris Minor Traveller being sold by a trading company hiding behind an Ebay account.
Snowberry white traveller nr Ely Cambridgeshire.
I think you will find they run a classic car sales and restoration business nearby.
Why can they not be more open about what they are doing.?

Ok there are a lot of businesses on Ebay but they have a title saying "registered Business". Then at the bottom of the listing there is the registered details, sometimes giving a phone number which I have used on many occasions to speak to the proprietor about his products i.e Andrew Eggleton as an example,Morris Minor Spares.

Is this a cop out over warranties.?
Avoid paying tax on the profit made.?

Post a link Mike !
Is this the one ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MORRIS-TRAVEL ... 2323aba56c

He does say he is a professional sprayer etc - and gives a very thorough description of the car. As ever - close personal inspection before bidding.

Business sellers on eBay have to have a defined 'returns' policy for buy it now items, selling as an individual, you don't........

Not sure how to copy a link or i would have.

As to viewing the vehicle and making a judgement ,that was not my point.
I am just letting people know that the car is being sold by a business, and not by an enthusiast like me or you.

Yes, because a motor trader must offer a warranty when they sell a vehicle, whereas a private seller obviously doesn't have to. It's the oldest one in the book for a trader to pose as a private seller, in order to get out of this obligation.

I asked the question - and got this answer.... " Hi. It's a trade sale, we're a classic car dealer, CropleyGreen Classic Cars of Ely.
Regards, David." So he's not really hiding anything......
