has anyone had later type rear wings re profiled to the high ser. 11 type, mine has the later type . I am thinking of returning car to original looks,Keeping the 948 engine ,but reinstating the trafficators and front and rear lights(Easy) but the problem is finding an economical way with the wings. The wings were repaced (New) about 5 years ago,so could be altered, is there a tool for turning the flange,If there is I can do the job myself.Don't think anyone is producing the ser 11 wings unless someone knows otherwise. cheers

I ordered a pair of reprofiled wings from Fairmile for my car after several phone calls to them the order was cancelled as they were having problems sourcing wings at the right price to enable the reprofiling and be able to make a profit , at all times they kept me informed and when the order was cancelled they returned the cheque with no problem, I then ordered a pair of wings from the Morris Centre Bristol , it was more money but they gave me a choice of a Heritage reprofile or a pattern I chose a pattern type it arrived within a week looked good where the mods had been done and fitted straight onto the car with no major issues or extra work having to be done

cheers ,will give them a try, depends on the price, the ones I have are as new ,so I could get a bit of cash back for them, but was more interested in a tool that I could do my own with.More than confident that I could cut the profile but its the rolling of the flange that would take the doing.Probably could be done with a suitable dolly ,we'll see.

Try someone like Frost Auto Restoration Tech for a swaging machine to turn up a flange. Expensive if just doing one pair of wings but nice tools to have... Its what I use :)
Suppies of wings now sorted following the demise of Hadrian and starting with new supplier. Apols to all inconvenienced....
