Hello all

I recently brought a 1969 Morris Minor which requires welding to the sill area (both sides) I do not have means or the skill to do it myself.
I have not long moved to the Bristol area and apart from the obvious trader is there any other traders that someone can recommend to carry out the repairs to the Morris.

Thanks
Martin

I contacted the Avon branch and got this back

Hi Martin.

One of our Avon Branch members, John Tunnah, runs "Bristol Classic Motor Cars" in St George Bristol and in my job as a MoT inspector I see a lot of his repairs to a wide range of classics, but Morris Minors in particular. My colleagues are also always impressed with his work.

has anyone else here had work carried out by this garage? I have searched his name on this site and I cannot seem to find any mention of him.

I can also recommend Russell from RTG. He has worked on my cars for the past 18 months and he is always thorough and thoughtful. He is also very fair with his charges and is outstandingly honest.

I have decidced to go with RTG to carry out the repairs.
It turns out the car has had some very poor repairs in the past and looking at the history I have for the car it has been to a couple of specialists in the Bristol area who would had carried out the poor repairs, they were not cheap either!
