hello! I am the very proud owner of a morris convertible (I bought her home yesterday!) could anyone give me advice as to the best products to use when cleaning her? thank you

Autoglym market an excellent range of cleaning products for interior and exterior. The hood should just be washed with plain water and lightly brushed to remove dirt. There is no need for any waterproofing providing it is in good condition.

Turtle wax is good and protects the paint but is time consuming and must be done one panel at a time.

Don't forget to blast out the wheel arches, sills etc where mud and dirt accumulate underneath and attend to any rust spots whilst the vehicle is clean.

I used Autoglym when i was in the trade and have continued to use it ever since always gives brilliant results. But with anything to get best results don't cut corners and do it quickly.

I use the Bilt Hamber Polish - gives a brilliant finish and easy to apply and buff off

I have heard good things about the Bilt Hamber polish.

I used to use Mer on my pickup, it used to give a nice finish, but it washed away too quickly with a weekly shampoo and my every day cars that used to have the same polish, that live outside in the rain etc, used to "not look so nice" after only a few days.

Mer also used to "cut" the paint too, my polish dusters always used to come off blueafter doing the pickup, so repeatitive use would have eventually worn through my soft cellulose paint.

As a result Ive currently and recently changed to using Meguiars Gold class wax. Really nice and easy stuff to apply, it doesnt cut the paint and the shine lasts longer than the Mer used to.
