If like me, you've just moved, have sagging front seats and have just forked out a lot of money already for your car... (ok, so £8 isn't much but I'm going to wait till I have a larger parts order for the new straps)...

Got two old sofa cusions? - I don't mean seat cusions, I mean the ones you put ON the sofa behind your back or maybe on your favourite armchair :)

Yesterday I attacked the front seats, undoing the straps and putting a cusion between the foam and the seat straps. A perfect fit, and firm seats again!

Not a brilliant fix, but it's certainly more comfy now for a 400 mile round trip I have to make on friday... :)

A recent borrowed moggie had one of those wooden beaded covers - that made the difference between bumping my coccyx on the seat frame and being relatively comfy. (but still peering out under the wheel rim like a granny!).

The other trick is a shhet of hardboard cut to size & put between the webbing and the seat inners.

Yep! works a treat for us short-bottoms!!
and a thin block works for us taller ones when the legs of the seats have started to fold under

when the legs of the seats have started to fold under
Hmm sounds more like a heavier problem than height would cause the seats to fold under

PS - its in Dad's car - it was like it when we bought it (except it had double the thickness wooden blocks under the legs)
