Morris Minor Postal Van trafficators

I aquired a Morris Minor Postal Van that looks like it originally had trafficators installed.
After looking at most Vans i do not see trafficators. Were these an option on the postal van?
Or did some one pull off the blanking plates for some reason and never replace them.
If there were trafficators does any one know what model were used?
The Lucas SF80 models used on cars would not be seen from the rear because of the panel box.

Thanks for your time & help

They appear to be mounted in a black box on the door post just in front of the cab.

Do you know what model was used?

I know Lucas made a SE62 & SE100
They both were enclosed in a black box. see picture
There may be more. These are the only ones listed in my reference picture.

Thanks for your reply,

Lucas Part number 54050A, which is a Model SE100, with black arm cover and case. It's just a 54045 movement, which is an SF80, in a case. You probably wouldn't lose too many points in the concours if you used a 54052A, which is like a 54050A but with movement 54044 which has a Staybrite arm cover (particularly if you painted in black) or, for the customisers, a 54056A, which has a 54044 movement in a chrome case.

Land Rovers also used the 54050A in the late 50s.

Sorry i am not sure what you mean by cab number.
Is that the same as the frame number?
I know that the vehicle was bult 1959. frame number - 96263
96263 was built after sept of 1959 but before Jan 1960.
Is that what your looking for?

That is correct. The question was not becaue i want them on my car.
I have only seen them on a few vans & was wondering which one was used.
I think they look fine both ways. I have a set to install on my tourer.
But i have never got around to instaling them. I am still trying to decide if i really want them.

How did you come up with 10/59 for production date?

Why do you think it was an ex-Postal van?

I know there was a OEB4 in UK postal livery displayed at the c1960 NY exhibition.

Need that cab number please!!
