The nut and pin to the right of the chassis leg removed , the Clutch pedal assembly and Brake Pedal assembly now look like a Y.
The clutch interference fit bush on pivot arm still stuck and spacer bit to brake pedal not loose at all . hit pedal and pin to right of chassis leg with large hammer , nothing moving sideways and soaked in 3in1 , any ideas?

Soak in proper release oil (Plus Gas etc) - then can only suggest wiggle it back and forth and sideways at the same time ! Why do you want it off??

I had exactly the same problem. Nothing seemed to be stopping it from coming out... but it wouldn't!
Problem:
Pedal shaft looked more like a camshaft. The ridges were stopping it sliding out, so needed carefully jiggling of the brake pedal in tandem with pulling/pushing on the shaft, to get over each step.

As before try soaking it and then putting some vice grips on and trying to get it to shift a bit, but Ive had to heat the spacer with oxi acetelayne in the past to get it to release.....

Thanks all , will try the mole grip idea to help , it might just (eventually)slide apart , funny how when they wear rather than the pedals getting loose they get tighter and move in tandem.
