Fitting traveller rear doors

Hi all,

I'm about to fit the rear doors on my trav and want to make sure I'm doing it right before I start drilling.
So far I have identified which hinge goes where and fitted the hinges to the doors.

I think the next step is to place the doors in the opening and ensure the gap is even all around before marking and drilling the hinge bolt holes.

How big a gap, if any should I leave between the doors?

Are there any tips for getting the doors fitted and closing correctly?

Cheers
Moray

Leave NO gap between the doors, it's best if they have to interlock together to get them closed - less rattles that way - and they will droop -so aim high with the holes.

Thanks for the info.

I loosely clamped the doors together and fitted them in place.
I then evened up the gaps around the outside with balsa wedges.

All that's left to do is drill the bolt holes.

Remember - they will drop - so I would make pretty much NO gap at the top when drilling the holes.
