Hi does anyone have the white wall flaps that you can buy or has anyone had any luck with a white tire paint. That doesn't go yellow or crack.

I think these are what your looking for, nice and easy to fit as well.

When I bought the lowlight they were fitted and I thought they would be the first thing I would emove, but they have grown on me and it looks funny without them now

I've been tempted myself and resisted the urge to look for them but now you've put a link up David they're only a click away... hmmm tempting

I have a set of these for 10" scooter tyres ,but I've not fitted them because of a horror story of undetected tyre wall wear behind the flap almost leading to rapid deflation.

I had some, about 20 years ago on an Anglia, after about 1000 miles they started gouging out the sidewalls of the tyres very dangerous and cost me a set of tyres.
In my opinion, they also look stupid on radial tyres and they don't suit English cars of the period, often seen on E-type jags and Sunbeam Alpines, leave them for Pink Cadillacs!

Yes, there have been messages posted on various internet forums about how these have caused damage to tyre side walls so best to do some research if you're planning on fitting some.

You used to be able to buy 'Styla' white-wall trims in the 1950s as an accessory. I think they would look best on a splitscreen with sunvisor and rear wheel spats.
