Kick Boards

HI
got the plywood ,got the jig saw,glue etc.Before I start to take out the old ones am I right in thinking that the parcel shelf screws ,one on each side,is all that holds the kick boards in place?

all help very welcome,in order to save my poorly knees :D

Most of the trim is made of a sort of heavy duty card, quite thick but more like paper than wood.

they are normally made of millboard..

---and a row of self tappers down the front, 4 I think. The front edge also tucks under the door rubber surround.

I used hardboard with 3 self tappers into the A post.
