Ital A+ sump

Post by jaguar68 »

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if the sump fitted to the A+ engine found in the Ital is similar to that fitted to the 1098, in particular the seals around the bearing blocks?

I'd like to replace the sump on the Ital engine with one from a 1098 and fit the rubber seals to the sump, but I know that the 1098 sump uses 2 front seals (from memory) as the rear seal is too big.

Regards

John

No - a 1098 sump will not fit a 1275 engine.
