USHM3 oil filter

I have a 1937 Morris 8 Tourer fitted with a USHM3 engine from a split screen Minor. The oil filter insert should have (I think) a steel disc underneath it but it is missing. Could anyone out there give me dimensions so that I could make one please?

The Purolator oil filter should have a disc in the filter bowl the same shape and size as the disc in the filter housing. It is secured by a spring underneath and a split pin on top. When the filter bowl is tightened it compresses the element against the top disc.
