Hi,
I am fitting a morris marina 1.1 engine into a morris minor pickup.
I am looking out for front engine mounting brackets to fit, which are modified from standard 1.3,1.8, brackets.
Any information or any condition to buy will help me.
They are featured in Haynes Manual page 189, chapter 13 supplement, morris marina 1.3 & 1300 (073).
Thank you in advance for your efforts,
PHILIP JONES

Can you not just use a 1098 minor front plate...?

Just out of interest, does the engine have a canister oil filter like that of a 'Minor' i.e attached to a pipe and hanging downwards and to the right of the 'dissy' OR is it horizontal i.e screwed straight into the block and to the left of the 'dissy', like the Marina 1300?
As said, front plate from a minor will do.

Hi Davely,
Oil filter connects to screwed unit via pipe from engine as you first describe.
Aquired morris minor timing cover and now want set of front complete engine mounting blocks ,(metallastic block and steel bracket ).
