can you tell me what is this part, How to adjust it What is this " A " " R "[frame][/frame]

Turn it with your fingers! A = advance (earlier spark)and R = retard (later spark) It's to fine tune the ignition timing....

I am going to service the vacuum advance unit - I have not the hand sucker to test vacuum - can I use an injection Cylinder for a sucker

I use my lungs.......
