Hif 44 throttle cable

Hi Chaps,
Can anyone tell me which throttle cable i need when using a HIF 44 carburettor?

A long one ! Pop into your local autoparts place and tell them the length you need......

trouble is, it needs the white plastic end on the cable outer to fit the heat shield

it's actually called an "Abutment Plate", so are you saying that this isn't needed?
