'Coopers' Sticker position

Howdy,
I've just finished refurbishing an air filter housing for 'Borris'...

So now it's nice and pretty, I thought I'd finish it off with the proper 'Coopers' sticker.
Does anyone know where it would originally be positioned? I'm not particularly a stickler for originality (it's not even the right filter for the age of the car!) but if I'm putting the sticker on, I want to do it right.
If you look at the filter from above (looking like a cam lobe) with the peak at 12 o'clock, should the sticker be directly opposite, at 6 o'clock? Do I fit the filter in its 'winter' position with the inlet over the manifold then put the sticker perfectly on the what becomes the top?
Was it even a standard position in the factory? Or did the tea-boy just get the job of slapping them on willy-nilly?
