Howdy!

Evening all,
I felt I should introduce myself seeing as I've just joined.
As you may have seen in my user name, my name is Tim Harrison, I'm 17 and live in Dorset. About six weeks ago I bought myself a Minor, simply because I'd heard that you could get great insurance deals on them and I have a passion for old machinery. It's a 1959 model, it was once white but the previous owner painted it bright blue and didn't do a particularly good job of it. It's solid as a rock, and was driven daily for the past year or so, so I'm hoping it won't give me too much trouble.
I've been spending a fair bit of time on the MMOC Young Members section on Facebook, and have already learnt far more than I thought was possible to know about these cars from the wonderful people on there, so I'm looking foward to learning more from the more experienced of you!
For the past three years, I have been working in a garage specialising in the customisation and tuning of 20s-50s American cars, and have spent most of that time in the engine department tearing apart old Ford Flathead V8s so I'm not entirely ignorant as far as general old cars are concerned, but I'm new to Morris Minors, so will need help at some point. Please forgive my ignorance, hopefully you'll all have me trained up to be a proper MM expert in no time!
Lastly, I am mildly dyslexic, (why is that word so hard to spell? It's like saying 'lisp'!) so please forgive any silly spelling mistakes. It is not often plain stupidity, although there are certain occasions when it is...
Thanks for having me along, I hope to be able to contribute as much as possible.
Tim.
